BBC WST in Cambodia hired KMF's production team to make a 90-minute movie sponsored by the Global Fund.
Palace of Dreams is classic "edutainment", targeted at young people and advising them about the dangers of HIV. It is being shown in Cambodian cinemas, on television and used in extensive outreach programmes around the country.
With its large cast of attractive young stars, the action moves at lightning pace between town and country, telling the story of three young men who set out to win the affection of the girl of their dreams.
Written by British novelist, Matt Baylis (who also wrote the screenplay for KMF's 2nd movie Heart Talk - soon to be released) and directed by Cambodian Tom Som and top British DoP Bill Broomfield, the movie is produced by Matthew Robinson.
Shooting in and around Phnom Phnom started on Monday 11 August and wrapped in September.
