This 100-minute romantic comedy, starring popular lead actors Meng Bunlo and Duch Sophea, played to packed houses and appreciative audiences at Phnom Penh’s main venue, Kirirom Cinema, in March and April 2007.
Directed by Cambodian Tom Som and written by British Anji Lowman Field, Staying Single When premiered (with quality English subtitles) at peak time on CTN, Cambodia’s leading TV channel, on 10 October 2007 as a 'special' for Pchum Ben holiday.
It was repeated as a 'special' for Khmer New Year in April 2008.
